Annual Banquet

at

The Apple Tree Terrace

4 Newberry Estate, Dallas, PA

Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

“Hawks, Falcons and Owls”

While hawks, falcons and owls are all raptors, they are all very different. Some hunt by day; others hunt by night. Kathy Uhler, from the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, will bring at least two live raptors of each kind to show and explain what makes each bird different and special. Learn each bird’s story, its adaptations, habitat, field marks, and what makes each of them successful.

Join the Greater Wyoming Valley Audubon Society at our banquet as Kathy Uhler demonstrates the differences and uniqueness of each of these raptor species with live birds, up close and personal, for our education and amazement.

The Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is licensed by the PA Game Commission, US Fish & Wildlife Service and US Dept. of Agriculture, and allows Kathy Uhler to include live animals in her programs.
